Falmouth: SPEAK OUT, STAND UP, BE HEARD!

January 20, 2013

The Falmouth Committee on Human Rights invites you to attend a public demonstration in support of wind turbine victims everywhere.

LIFE UNDER THE BLADES IS NO LIFE AT ALL

Families in Falmouth can’t endure any more torture. They need your help now.

On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 there will be public protest throughout the town of Falmouth. The demonstrations start at 2:00 pm in advance of the 6:30 pm Selectmen’s meeting.

Meet in front of the town hall at the Village Green parking area, Falmouth, MA. Contact Dave Moriarty, 774-521-8474 waveydavei@aol.com for more details.

The Board of Selectmen will be taking public comments on the newly released $388,000 report.

Unless the conversion to a solar installation is adopted from among the recommendations of the Wind Turbine Options Group, Falmouth will be complicit with the state of Massachusetts in continuing its unethical experiment on adversely affected wind turbine victims.

Turbine victims fear the report will be used to quiet citizen revolt against the failed energy policy of siting wind turbines near homes. If the town votes to continue operations, the result will be to extract residents from their homes.

Taxpayers and electricity customers of Massachusetts, who don’t want to see their hard-earned dollars used against their friends and neighbors, can make their comments known.

This is a worldwide issue and unbelievable that people are NOT believing this is a huge negative..I had a Greenpeace volunteer in NYC say to me it is the lesser of evils like coal..he obviously had no idea…of the damage…

will see.. PLease if you care come … and if they won’t meet make a ruckus… We are suffering here and need help. NO MORE GAMES.
I have already had to move and have lost so much from this junk… Ore will follow and there seems no end in sight.
As long as we are polite enough to these manipulators they will continue to run roughshot over our health wealth and well being just so they can get their greeny green greed merit badges.

This stuff makes for hate like I have never felt before… I pray someday I can run where it can’t find me anymore… because it seems the profit is much mor important than the people in these cases.

A few weeks ago a meeting was held at the Fairhaven Board of Health in which the fire chief sent home many of those who planned to attend .

Wednesday Jan 23 at 6:30 PM the Falmouth Select Board is holding a meeting for the residential abutters who have endured noise for the last three years . The public can attend this meeting .The question is after 26 meetings over 8 months and $388,000.00 dollars why is Falmouth holding a meeting in a room that only holds 20 people ?

The Fairhaven story about the fire chief sending people home was in the national news !

Towns holding meetings in small rooms limits the amount of public input and the ability of the news media to view the meetings.

The small towns in Massachusetts made serious mistakes placing commercial wind turbines next to residential homes based on faulty state studies. The local, state and news media have to have access to the complaints of all the citizens .

The siting of these commercial wind turbines is politically embarrassing for all Massachusetts politicians . Falmouth is even more politically embarrassing as the first turbine built in Falmouth was purchased by the state in 2005 and held in a warehouse in Texas for five years at $3500.00 a month .The state couldn’t sell the turbine even at auction . The state gave Falmouth one million in advanced Renewable Energy Credits to buy the turbine . The state agency changed its name after the deal with Falmouth.

Remember that old saying : “There’s something wrong in Denmark ” that’s where the Falmouth turbine came from .

How about the right size room in Falmouth so the public can have its input ?
